Olga Forster
Title of painting: February
Her inspiration comes from her emotional experience, multicultural heritage and the inherent beauty of nature. Her art is vivacious, passionate, intelligent and provocative. Her ability to define creative ideas by utilising a range of artistic styles is striking – from figurative to abstract and wonderfully whimsical, her artwork is truly engaging.

Title of painting: Orange handbag at dusk
I hope my paintings invite the beholder to use their own story – to be reminded of a magical day by the sea or a walk in the hills. I want them to be a springboard from which to delve into a world of colour, memory, reality or dream.
Sophie Abbott
Title of painting: Bandstand
I aim to create playful and atmospheric paintings that capture the essence of form, movement and the feeling of a time and place.
Shyama Ruffell
Title of painting: Summer Blues
The colours, smells, scale ornamentation and diversity of all the different cultures I have visited continue to be a huge inspiration, along with the sense of drama and humor about fashion, and the importance of shoes and handbags. Shoes, flowers and butterflies are the celebration of things decorative and transient. I enjoy exploring their forms, shapes and textures: using paint and silver leaf, holding them still so they can be enjoyed and indulged in.

Title of painting: Play Birds Black
My intention is to capture the beauty and the magical realism of secret gardens, woodland blossom and fairy like song birds from the natural beauty to dreamscapes.
Edwina Roberts
My inspirations come from many sources including exotic plants and flowers, orchids, palms and garden plants. My influences are from the compositions used in Japanese prints, kimono fabric designs and Victorian Botanical drawings and wallpapers.

Title of painting: West Street 1
He has been living and making art in Brighton for fifteen years. He is currently best known for painting Brighton street-scapes. These scenes often counterpoint a sense of light, colour and beauty with a feeling of aloneness and the brutal passage of time. |
