The Tin Drums are a family owned business, not a chain, and there are none outside Brighton and Hove. The first Tin Drum was opened in Seven Dials in 1998, followed by Kemptown in 2001 and Hove two years later. As neighbourhood bars, each reflects its own locality.

We strive to capture the atmosphere of a European bar ­ one in which people are equally at home with a coffee and a newspaper, a dish from our Grazing Menu and a bottle of wine or beer with friends, a light lunch or an à la carte evening meal. we are well known for being child friendly.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and ingredients, the majority of which are sourced locally and some of which is grown and reared on our own farm.
